Engagement- Dana and Devin

We had so much fun with this excitable couple that obviously has tons of personality. Spent a recent Sunday afternoon on the UF campus (and stadium) and just let them turn on the charm. We tried to play off her “girly girl” persona while he played the cool and casual guy who loves his sports.

It became quite obvious that this wedding is going to be a blast. They are getting married on the beach in Clearwater in just a few months. Can’t wait!

Mass Wedding on Valentine’s Day

Had the pleasure of covering a mass wedding today for the newspaper at the Hippodrome State Theater. It was put on by a local radio program and featured 24 couples who were tying the knot for the first time or renewing their vows. Wish it was outside on the steps and not in the dark, cramped basement. Regardless, it was a great event and was happy I covered it, even if it was my day off.

Here is a collection of moments that you will find in the Monday Gainesville Sun and on gainesville.com.

Wedding- Matt and Lisa

Anyone that knows me knows that I love a good challenge.

I was honored to be referred to the wedding of Lisa and Matt last month at the Baughman Center and reception at Gainesville Country Club. It was an intimate and beautiful event yet I was only there for
3 hours. For someone that often spends 8-10 hours at an event it became my goal not to just get a fraction of what I normally do but to get a full weddings worth of moments in an abbreviated amount of time.

Luckily I had an amazing couple, wonderful family and gorgeous venues. Truly a great time!

Pretty happy with the results but I will let you be the judge.

Engagement- Carlee & Trey

Such a fun couple. We met on the banks of the historic Suwannee River in Fort White. A little bed and breakfast called the Adam’s House.

They had an old water pump on the grounds that we had some fun with before taking the long stairway down to the river. Trey, a firefighter, was a little taken back by our style at first (everyone usually is) but he figured out what we were up to and just rocked it. Carlee is a natural.

Enjoy!!!
