Please let us know if you have any questions.

Engagement- Gardhy and Sandrie

The joy of this couple can be easily understood before you even scroll to the bottom of this post. Marian and I thoroughly enjoyed our time working with them and cannot wait to photograph the upcoming wedding. We chose the Thomas Center and Baughman Center in Gainesville for this shoot and prayed for mild weather for which we got (minus a few bugs). Such a great time.

Enjoy!!

Wedding- Andrew and Jennifer (Rob)

We generally shy away from August weddings in GAINESVILLE because the heat is just overwhelming. Not this time, it was the most pleasant day of the Summer and made for a super-fun day. Andrew and Jennifer were as sweet as could be and their great personalities shined through at every turn. It was a treat that Jennifer’s mom hired us as a surprise for the bride and groom. Being a WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER I love those extra sparks of fun at events. After a couple month break it was just invigorating to go out and tell such a wonderful visual story.

At one time, I was honestly worried when we decided to offer five hour packages but those worries are gone. This is the third event in that time frame and I have learned the story of the day does not change either way. I am very happy with our coverage and some of the awesome moments we captured. As usual, we worked at great venues like the BAUGHMAN CENTER and SWEETWATER BRANCH. We brag all the time about them being our favorite in town. We also got to work with CHAD REED, the most amazing officiate of all-time. It was a great day in general. Be sure to look at the great work of Marian and our new and fabulous correspondent Erica.

Enjoy!

Wedding- Andrew and Jennifer (Marian)

On every wedding, Marian finds a way to amaze me. Whether it is a drop-dead gorgeous image that makes me jealous, using her bridal coordinator skills to avert a near disaster, coming up with amazing poses to make up for my attention which is on documentary style or most importantly: forging a relationship and comfort with clients that truly becomes our strongest asset.

At this event it was her resiliency that stood out. See, she had surgery less than ten days before the event and was barely walking just a couple days before. Yet she kept it together and acted like a true professional and had another kick-butt event. When clients hire a wedding photographer, the number one concern is that resiliency and what happens if you don’t feel 100%. We treat every event as if it was our own and go above and beyond no matter how we feel. We brought an extremely talented backup photojournalist just in case but that ended up being icing on the cake given the way Marian handled the day. She is truly my God-given gift!

Enjoy!

Wedding- Andrew and Jennifer (Erica)

I feel really blessed to have Erica Brough as part of our team. She is a staff photojournalist for the Gainesville Sun and amazes me on a daily basis by taking the most mundane of assignments and coming back with heart-warming, fun-loving and above all: story-telling images. Erica is a true pro and she proves this on what is essentially her first wedding. I cannot wait to work together in the future. She’s a gem!

Enjoy!

Mike and Lisa Wedding- (Rob)

Very happy to present this body of work. Actually it is just a snapshot to an amazing wedding we did on the eve of Easter at Marywood Retreat in Jacksonville. This was extra special in that we photographed the bride’s sister’s wedding a year ago and have grown quite fond of the Dronkers family.

This couple was super cool as we discovered during the great engagement shoot last year. They have awesome personalities and have so much fun around one another. Every couple should take lessons from them! We were just grateful to spend the day documenting this joyous occasion.

Could not be happier with the results as this was a signature event for us. Jacksonville Wedding Photographer.

Enjoy

Mike and Lisa Wedding- (Marian)

Here is another strong collection of moments from Marian. She really shined on this special day.

Wedding- Jason and Natalie (Marian)

This is the first time I have had the opportunity to chime in on the blog. :) I really enjoyed working with Natalie and Jason. I got to use some of my emergency kit, found new uses for some of my tools, and realized that even the people who HATE being photographed can eventually come around. lol Yes I mean you Mom! :) We really had a great time and felt right at home with this group!

Pro Day- My Last Swamp Hurrah With Tebow

Been to quite a few Pro Days over the years and it is pretty straightforward, college players showing off their skills to NFL scouts and coaches. Enter Tim Tebow and you have a circus. You have countless head coaches. You have a semi-packed stadium. You have headlines on ESPN for several segments. You also have a catchphrase…….Tim Tebow 2.0.

The Heisman winner was out to show all the haters that he can throw the football with a revamped throwing style that looked pretty darn good. When you hear the zing of that ball hitting the hands of receivers you know he has a cannon. Some team is gonna get a proven winner.

For me it was the culmination of 4 years of chasing him around on and off the field. We had a fitting ending (at least in my eyes). After his workout he started walking in my direction and we made eye contact. I said “one last victory lap?” and he said something along the lines of “let’s do it”.

The two of us made our way to the loving fans behind the confines of the chain linked bench area. Just me and him as none of the other photogs made it in. It was funny in that I had to continuously move the benches out of the way so we could both make it through. Of course I was shooting the whole time.

There was no hug goodbye or even an acknowledgment. I am a media guy at heart and would never feel comfortable with that anyways. Regardless, I have chased him for years, had portrait sessions together and even spent a day in a youth prison while he preached. Not to be a homer but this guy is as class an act as you could ever meet. In a world of ego-driven, money hungry athletes, this guy is someone everybody could root for.

And if he gets drafted by the Jax Jaguars…….well I have field passes for them as well.

Engagement- Carlee & Trey

Such a fun couple. We met on the banks of the historic Suwannee River in Fort White. A little bed and breakfast called the Adam’s House.

They had an old water pump on the grounds that we had some fun with before taking the long stairway down to the river. Trey, a firefighter, was a little taken back by our style at first (everyone usually is) but he figured out what we were up to and just rocked it. Carlee is a natural.

Enjoy!!!
