The Big Picture

We spent a couple hours with this fun-loving couple roaming around the UF campus even though they are not Gators (USF fans). So we avoided the orange and blue but took advantage of the architecture and oaks. As we were thinking of something else fun I remembered a pile of leaves near the Gainesville Sun so we headed over there and let them romp around. Only in Florida can you get Autumn photos in December.

What an emotional day as everyone in the stadium watched the last game with arguably the greatest college football player ever and a senior class that is the best in SEC history.

No doubt this day was about Tim Tebow and he did not disappoint after accounting for 5 touchdowns, shedding a few tears and a LONG victory lap to teary-eyed fans. Happy to say I shot his first touchdown in the Swamp and his last and it has been a great ride that won’t fully hit me for some time. There are two games left and I hope for a trip to Pasadena next year.

Tebow used the word special to describe his last home game 23 times in his post game press conference.

Could not think of a better way to say it.

OK so I keep hearing people talk about me and my bison burger and the story we ran in Gainesville Magazine. As many of you know, I LOVE to cook. For me it is a way to express myself creatively much like I do with a camera. The benefit of cooking is I get to eat the finished masterpiece.

When we were planning this current issue of the magazine I suggested we do “burgers” for the food section. I explained the new healthy bison burger I have been making at home and my editor asked me to write a sidebar to go with the main story. They are yummy!

The magazine just hit the streets and I have had at least 20 people say they have tried or will try the recipe. Great feedback! Here is a photo and please checkout the story in the June edition on newsstands now.

Iran Is Not the Problem divx Another great wedding here to share (this year has been amazing!!). Wes and Janeen, the jet-setting, fun loving, bad car luck having couple flew in from Los Angeles for this bash at Sweetwater Branch Inn in Gainesville 2 weeks ago.

Wes is film maker and Janeen a student and all I can say is they are fun, fun, fun. Weather was perfect and the crowd was hopping. It was a great day for this event.

Gotta throw out some love to Prange’s Florist, Jay’s Entertainment and all the other vendors who made the day so special. There are some kick-butt moments in this selection of photos and I cannot wait to update the portfolio and website with some of these gems.

First off, I have been a bad blogger. Been enjoying a couple weeks of down time. We schedule just a small amount of free weekends during the “off” season. I have been catching up on albums and writing curriculum for an online wedding photography class I am teaching. Well, fun is over and I have some great content to post.

Nadav and Dara are the perfect couple in every which way. I could go on and on here about how inspirational they are and all the goals they have accomplished but I will let the images speak for themselves. We love unconventional and this was the ultimate opportunity. I am very happy with the results.
